São Miguel Island – Ponta Delgada Campus

Throughout the years, the Ponta Delgada Campus has established close relations with the city that hosts it and with the region as a whole. This has been achieved through the active participation of its faculty in colloquia and seminars, organised by several institutions, as well as through research in the fields of knowledge considered to be more relevant to the Azorean society.

Terceira Island – Angra do Heroísmo Campus

On the Angra do Heroísmo Campus one can find, beside the Department of Agricultural Sciences and a delegation of the Department of Education Sciences, the Angra do Heroísmo Nursing School, as well as the Angra do Heroísmo School of Technology and Administration. The Department of Agricultural Sciences has established privileged relations with similar departments of Portuguese and foreign Universities and research stations, in terms of teaching and research, which have decisively contributed to the training of its academic staff. 

Faial Island – Horta Campus

The Department of Oceonography and Fishery has been mainly devoted to scientific research and development of marine life sciences. Over the years it has become well known in this area of study, which is today recognized at national and international level.
